What have I been painting recently? I am finishing off a seascape at dusk with pink skies and reflections in the sea. When I was in Florida just prior to the pandemic, I travelled to Cocoa Beach and took photographs while there of the gentle waves coming onto the sandy beach. I am using those as a reference, but also making it mty own. I hope to capture that calmness that I found when looking out to sea. I have used acrylic and painted the scene on paper in A4. It's nearly finished. Watch this space ....
